SPATEX provides exhibitors with the opportunity to collect visitor information through badge scanning and lead retrieval technology during the exhibition.
When you allow an exhibitor to scan your visitor badge, you are consenting to the transfer of the personal information associated with your registration to that exhibitor. This information may include your name, job title, company name, email address, telephone number and other registration details you have provided.
Once your information has been shared with an exhibitor, that organisation becomes an independent Data Controller and is responsible for processing your personal information in accordance with its own privacy policy.
SPATEX is not responsible for the privacy practices, communications or data handling procedures of individual exhibitors. We encourage visitors to review the privacy policies of any exhibitors with whom they choose to share their information.
If you do not wish your information to be shared with exhibitors, please do not permit your badge to be scanned.
