OUR COVID COMMITMENT TO KEEP YOU SAFE

We are dedicated to delivering a safe and secure event for all and the safety and comfort of all our exhibitors and visitors at SPATEX 2022 remains our top priority.

In line with the latest government regulations, we have worked closely with both the Coventry Building Society Arena, the Exhibitions and Events Industry & our H&S Advisor to establish guidance to allow us to confidently offer a safe environment for all where we will be verifying exhibitors’, contractors’ and visitors’ COVID-19 status on arrival at the event.

Requirements for events such as SPATEX are likely to change on a frequent basis so please continue to check our website for further information.  As we approach the show as we will be updating this page regularly.

Preparing ahead of the event will allow you quick and easy access into the show.

We will need to see proof of COVID-19 status for entry to SPATEX 2022. This can be in the form of ONE of the following:

  • Proof of completion of a full course of COVID-19 vaccination two weeks prior to arrival, either through the NHS App (UK residents) or through your  UK Vaccination Record Card or the country where you were vaccinated.
  • Proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test result taken within 24 hours of arrival.  The test result should be reported via your NHS app or via email or text message from the NHS.
  • Proof of a negative PCR Test result taken within 24 hours of arrival through the NHS App or your PCR test provider.

This requirement of proof of COVID status is applicable to all exhibitors and contractors for build-up, during the event itself and for break down.  Everyone entering the venue/exhibition hall will be required to wear the relevant "COVID-19 status checked" wristband at all times.

Please note: if your proof of COVID-19 status is a Lateral Flow Test these must be carried out before arrival at the venue and be taken each day before entering the venue/exhibition hall (you will be issued with a new "COVID-19 status checked" wristband daily). The test results should be reported via your NHS app, or via email or text message from the NHS.

Anyone arriving at the venue requiring a Lateral Flow Test  will incur a charge of £12 as the Organisers have to pay for the supplies they receive. Within the UK, you are able to get your lateral flow test for free from your local chemist, so please do take time to do this before you set off.

Mandatory use of Masks/Face coverings at the Show:

As stated above this is the current guidance and the requirements for masks/face coverings may change before the show, as it stands at present you are required to wear a face covering on entering the venue and must keep it on until you leave, however, masks/face coverings are not required in hospitality settings such as our Catering Points or Exhibitor stand hospitality given that they cannot be worn while eating and drinking.

Other event safety measures include:

  • Wider aisles
  • Separate entrance & exit to the exhibition hall
  • Frequent and enhanced cleaning of public areas, toilets, and touch points around the venue
  • Hand sanitiser and/or hand washing facilities throughout the venue, and we will encourage all visitors and exhibitors to regularly utilise them
  • Contactless payment will be encouraged
  • Exhibiting companies have been asked to undertake an enhanced risk assessment to ensure they are COVID-19 secure in line with any existing guidance
  • Mitigations in place for the Awards Evening

All attendees must agree to leave immediately should they develop COVID-19 symptoms during the event.

We take our responsibility for the Health & Safety for everybody at SPATEX 2022 very seriously. Should you have any comments, questions or suggestions in relation to our systems and processes around our Safe & Secure measures, or indeed in relation to anything related to Health & Safety at our events, please e-mail us directly: andy@krmsafety.management

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our 2022 Show and are confident that by putting these checks in place, we can offer reassurance for everyone once they are inside the event.

Thank you for your co-operation.
