The NEW Aerum range of units are fitted with a refrigerate coil instead of a water coil so the heat is taken from the air to the refrigerate, and then directly to the pool hall air. It is therefore more efficient and because we are coupling this coil to a top branded outdoor unit, (which comes with a 5 year warranty), we know that servicing and maintenance is readily available throughout the country.

This concept shouldn’t be confused with the refrigerant ‘heat pumps’ dehumidifiers in the older (1970’s design) re-circ systems that is still used by many in the pool trade. Their cold coil removed the humidity, but in the process dropped the air temperature right down, then had to use its hot coil to heat it back up to close to its original temperature.

The Recotherm Aerum range uses fresh air to dehumidify with clean air which is better for the atmosphere and health, while the heat pump side is purely for eco heating or substantial cooling.
