Danish Azri, Introduction

I am the Sustainability Lead of the Chemical Business Association (CBA), a multi-award winning Trade Association representing the UK’s chemical supply chain.

I lead on CBA’s involvement in the development of effective climate related regulations by working closely with members and a variety of stakeholders including Government departments and industrial experts. Through the CBA Sustainability Hub, alongside other CBA initiatives such as the CBA People & Skills Hub, and programs such as Responsible Care, I lead and supports CBA members on regulatory compliance, sustainability challenges, chemical transportation, and health and safety by promoting transparency, knowledge sharing, and collaboration between industry representatives

I am a member of CBA’s Future Council as well as a Generation STEAM ambassador. Additionally, I am also an advocate for Carbon Literacy within the Chemical Supply Chain. I am a qualified DGSA in Road and Inland Waterways where I am also involved with the Carriage of Dangerous Goods Practitioners Forum (CDGPF)
