Steve O’Donovan, Metropolitan Police Sergeant currently seconded to the Home Office Explosive Precursor Engagement team in the Homeland Security Group. As a serving police officer Steve has been an operational team leader on the Police response to a Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) and Explosive incidents in London and the UK. Steve is a qualified CBRN Operational Commander, Advisor and Instructor.
Steve’s role in the team is to support strategic oversight to the team’s aims and objectives and jointly lead on engagement within retail and industry, raising awareness and compliance with the Poisons Act.
