We are incredibly proud to announce that Alukov UK has been shortlisted for the 2025 EUSA – European Pool & Spa Awards, one of the most prestigious recognitions in the European pool and spa industry.

Our entry, submitted in the Domestic Pool Enclosure category, features a project that is especially close to our hearts.

This custom-built Laguna enclosure was designed for a family whose son, living with a disability, uses the pool daily as part of his essential therapy. Providing a safe, weather-protected environment for his regular swimming sessions was not just a technical goal—it was a personal mission.

To support the family further, we assisted them in applying for a VAT relief, which they greatly appreciated, helping to ease the financial burden of this vital addition to their home.

The enclosure itself is a true example of bespoke craftsmanship:

• Internal dimensions: 8.50 x 15.00 meters
• Structure: Fully telescopic design using double aluminium profiles for enhanced strength and durability
• Glazing: 4mm thick, glass-effect polycarbonate, chosen to maximise natural light
• Colour: Sleek anthracite frame, one of our most popular finishes
• Accessibility: Double sliding doors at both ends with barrier-free, no-step thresholds, making it fully wheelchair accessible.

Despite its impressive size, the enclosure can still be opened and closed manually with ease, offering maximum flexibility for the family.

We recently caught up with the client, and they shared how delighted they are—not only with the outstanding quality of the enclosure but also with the dedicated service they received from the Alukov team.

Being shortlisted for this award is an honour, and it reflects the heart, effort, and engineering excellence that went into this project. We are beyond excited—and we hope you will wish us luck as we head into the final round of judging!
