There’s just seven weeks before the international water leisure industry converges on Coventry Building Society Arena for the 29th edition of SPATEX. With a free, double seminar and workshop programme, packed with 43 diverse topics, it’s time to start making plans.

New initiative - Pool Plant Theatre 

For the first time at SPATEX, the IOS (Institute of Swimming) will be joined by RLSS UK (Royal Life Saving Society), ISPE (Institute of Swimming Pool Engineers) and STA (Swimming Teachers' Association) for a series of hands-on workshops and speaker panels - all aimed at the commercial pool operator. There will be four sessions on Tuesday (11.35 - 14.10) and four on Wednesday (10.15 -13.00), covering essential topics such as operational procedure compliance, pool safety and advanced filtration.

SPATEX Casino and Mexican Chilli Evening in the on-site Grosvenor Casino. Casino die-hards or Casino newbies, SPATEX has hired three croupiers to officiate and will happily teach the rudiments of the most popular casino games from 8pm-10pm.  
The delicious sit-down chilli supper, meat or three bean vegan option available, with rice, nachos, garlic bread, cheese topping and hot sauces, will be served 7.15pm-8.45pm.  
The price is £25 per head excluding drinks which can be bought separately at the bar.
